I looked into individuals’ ability to store and transport dirty laundry when in confined spaces (ie. freedom campers) as this was a problem brought up often during the primary research phase of the paper.

My solution is an all-in-one backpack and laundry hamper with a wool liner to absorb odors. The hamper can be removed and aired out when not in use.

The outer would be made of canvas with interior batting to maintain its shape but also be durable and compact.

The origami fold of the backpack means it can be stored on the ground fully open for each of use, flattened for ease of storage, and with the top folded over when transporting laundry.
